Ha! Did that catch your attention? I hope so, as I’m stuck and I thought, I wondered, I hoped, just maybe you might have a bright idea – or two!
I’ve been making some cards. I found some stamps and thought I could have some fun with them. They feature, ahem, well endowed ladies and will follow a certain theme …………
Here is the first completed one – done in water colours
It’s never too late
Isn’t she gorgeous?
Here are the others, all made with inks of various types
Or, maybe this way up?
The last three/four don’t yet have WHAT it is not too late to be.
I have thoughts, but I think they might be a bit, you know – blah! And I don’t want to put you off your creativity by blurting them out here……
So, if you can come up with a tagline that fits any of them and I use it, you’ll receive a set of all four of the printed cards.
Over to you my creative friends. I’ll close this off in just four days ………… and thanks so much for coming by today, I love that you did!
I missed this altogether! I get lost reading the comments and by the time I get to the bottom, I’ve forgotten what I want to say. I love that so many people have found their way here. All the cards are wonderful and perfect for so many of us! π I don’t care for the mermaid upside down. Not sure why it’s unsettling for me. I’ve been going back through your last posts for a clue. I can’t even find the comment that I left about the email. Scary. You always inspire me with all your creations. Hugs and love.

I found it – it was in the original post on Norah’s blog about education – not on mine, so my mistake and I’m sorry to have sent you on a wild goose chase. This is your final comment in that conversation: “I have always had deep admiration for those women that rose above what they were dealt. Iβll send you a note about that soon. Iβll start it now so I wonβt forget. π” It doesn’t matter if the moment has passed and the topic is forgotten – we all do that! Take care Marlene xoxo

π It is definitely never to late.
And your cards dont really need a tagline, they are just to cute without a comment. I love the mermaid.
Have fun making them. π

I’m not great at it either, hence the this post π But this is a great offering Lynne, it’s a catch-all tag line and could work on any card. Thank you β€

Itβs never too late to free your inner mermaid.
That was fun! π§πΌββοΈ π

Now I see you have gotten some great suggestions!

Hello. what lovely ladies.
For me the first lady should just be ‘It’s never too late’
Not sure of the lady on the bike, I can’t quite get hold of her.
The mermaid – ‘It’s never to late to turn your life around.’
Look forward to seeing what you settle on xxx

Very perceptive about the bike rider – I put her among the stars, but now I’ve been given the idea to put her on a high mountain top and I might rough her up a bit…… We’ll see…… I have no clue what I’ll settle on still – so many good ideas!

The mermaid one… It’s never too late to be the real you/let the real you out
Bike one… To learn something new/to travel /to move forward in life /reach for the stars
Meditating one… To relax

Oooh. I love those cards, Pauline. They’re so positive and healthy and affirming!!!! Yippee. I didn’t read the comments, so I wouldn’t be influenced. Here are some ideas (I love these challenges):
The meditating card: … to shine, (or) … to embrace peace, (or) …to breathe in love
The bicycle card: … to stretch your boundaries, (or) … to take an adventure, (or) … to let go of the handlebars
The mermaid card:… to dream, (or) … to imagine, (or) … to celebrate the unique you
Thanks! That was so fun!

oops–the bike rider could be “It’s never too late to rock . . . and roll.” I do love the idea of beautiful women with real bodies and such looks of contentment on their faces. Great creations, Pauline!

Thanks Kerry – you had me a bit worried with the unfinished first part of your comment π Now if I put that bike on top of a high mountain that would be the perfect sentiment – stand by!!
I love their extra curves too – I think it’s time to start celebrating women of a certain age and shape and make it fun at the same time!

These are gorgeous, Pauline and so inspirational. I love the first with its completed tagline. She’s gorgeous, and the colour is my favourite. A couple of meagre suggestions that are probably no more than blah:
meditation: It’s never too late to realise your dream.
bicycle: It’s never too late to reach for the stars.
mermaid: It’s never too late to let your true self show. (I like her the right way up, by the way.)

Oh dear Norah, your first two suggestions are exactly what I had thought of – so we clearly think a great deal alike!! π And good to know which way up you like the mermaid – I think I can do a better drawing for a diving down mermaid though if a tagline catches my attention…….

For the meditation lady “to find your bliss” is what occurred to me, and I see others have thought the same. For the mermaid, I like her upside down, “to dive in deep,” or “to explore the depths.”
I couldn’t think of one for the bicycle lady myself but I love all the other suggestions for her! You will have to do multiples and use all those great lines! π

These lovely ladies are inspiring just as they are Pauline. For the upside-down mermaid, how about “to dive in” and for the cyclist “to shine your light” because her bicycle light is glowing and leading the way. For the yoga lady, all I can come up with is “to rise up”.

2. It’s never too late to get starry eyed.
3. It’s never to late to take the plunge

Wooohooo. Just what I needed this afternoon! It’s never too late …to find balance; to take a spin with the stars; to get in the swim OR to take in the show. Just off the top of my head. I like the mermaid upright as she seems to be beckoning me lo look at what’s coming. What fun these are, Pauline. I was about to tell you I needed more of the universe cards? Are they still on your shop? I mete them out only to very special people…

Woo-hoo indeed!! You set the ball rolling with these great suggestions Lisa. I’m clearly going to be spoilt for choice! I’m glad you mentioned which way up you like the mermaid as I flipped her on a whim and seeing her on the computer like that I don’t think she looks right…..
I’m going to do a hunt and see if I have the universe scan on a usb stick somewhere. I lost all my photos, scans, records etc when my laptop suddenly and definitively ceased to work last year. And I hadn’t backed anything up! (Deep sigh and head shake!!) (And I still haven’t backed anything up – Dear heaven, there’s no hope for some of us!) I’ll flip you an email and let you know the outcome of my search.
