Fabulous architecture and a dog – what more do you need? Laurie works her magic again ……
Life on the Bike and other Fab Things
After a wonderful day Experiencing Dunedin and Otago Harbour, we slowed our pace with a lovely walk around the University of Otago.
With the first students being accepted in July 1871, it is the oldest university in New Zealand, and the third oldest in Oceania.
With over 20,000 students, the University offers Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degrees in Health Sciences, other Sciences, Business, and Humanities.
Iβm not sure which was more impressive: the architecture or the trees!Β The stone, while of a darker color, reminded me of Hokie Stone.
The walk was peaceful, offered wonderful scenery, and was the perfect way to end our day.
Dunedin is such a pretty place. I have very fond memories of it.

Simply beautiful. The photography is outstanding. I see Siddy is partaking in events. Does he love all the attention? He looks so happy.

Yes SS, Siddy is having a wonderful time. Now instead of just me and a cat he has seven other people to companion. Puppy dog heaven! π Though I think he will sleep for a month when this is done.

I love to wander around the university, it is stunning! That last shot was Laurie down on the river bank shepherding us all into the centre of the bridge – five girls and a dog…………
