Bloggers: The Most Incredible Gathering of Friends!

Hi all! [waving happily from South-West Virginia] We are so happy here! Our days are spent talking, laughing, eating, [drinking some too] meeting so many great people over good food in great dining establishments and wondeful homes …….. It is just like meeting up with old friends and picking up on old conversations – I feel so very fortunate to be part of this adventure! Have a look here to see some photos of the gang …………….

We’ve all said it, and many of you have as well.

WordPress Blogging has become so much more than we ever thought it would be.  What started out as travel diary, forum for writing, sharing of photography, enlightenment about art, gardening, or crafting, or keeping up with family has become a community of international friends.

Over the last several days, 8 WP bloggers from 3 countries and 2 states, have met in various locations to continue in person, the relationships that have been forged through the world of blogging.

We marveled that while most of us had never met each other, we talked and laughed as if we’d known each other for years.

  1. This post made me smile and chuckle, Pauline. Of course, you all know each other so well by now! I feel this way about my friends, Jill, Beth, Sherri, and YOU, Pauline. I feel connected by our art, feelings and stories. This was lovely and so nice of you to share this adventure.

  2. What a blessing it was to meet you and the other wonderful ladies, Pauline! Thank you for welcoming me with open arms and an open heart to the Georgetown lunch. I only regret not being able to join up with you, Alys, Boomdee, and Lisa on your whirlwind return tour of DC before you left for home. I had such a hard time keeping my mind on work, thinking about all the fun I was missing. Looking forward to keeping up with you on your blog. Sending hugs ❤️

  3. I had a hunch that meeting you in person, Pauline, was going to be even more surprising and delightful than experiencing you through the amusements of your blog. You were as I imagined–an exceptional lady. And I feel so lucky to have been given the opportunity to share a small amount of time with you.
I hope your travels back will be safe, and that you’ll have made enough marvelous memories to keep you snugly satisfied until the next time. Because there MUST be a next time. And I hope I shall be around to be a part of it.
