Me and cameras don’t get on that well, no matter which side I am on.
YD always says I become Downs when a camera looks at me – but we decided to give it a shot …
My old Gravatar pic was almost three years old – a rather blurry shot cropped from a group photo taken at a Winery – time for an upgrade – so here we go – here’s me taken a week after my 64th birthday looking just a little stunned and slightly quizzical …..
And this is what happens when someone tells me a really good joke …..
Dear god – I should stay serious!!
I’ll be back tomorrow with my latest journal page.
This post makes me so happy. You are a delight! Warm, funny and beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing your photo shoot. You’re lovely.

Beautiful! Honestly, you are just lovely, Pauline! I’ve seen people, like myself, not update their gravatar even after they start wearing glasses all the time. To do it every year…well, if I look like you in 7 years, I’ll be happy to change my gravatar then, too. 🙂

Oh Christi, that’s just made my day – or week even! What a kind comment 🙂 I’m not planning on doing it every year either – I just thought a cropped and blurry picture taken at the end of a trip to a winery three years ago was well past its best …. if it ever had had ‘a best’ Thank you for taking the time to drop by – I’m looking forward to my visit to your place in a couple of days 🙂

Aww – shucks – mumble, grin, shuffle – I love the thought that I look ‘artistic’ though – and I didn’t have any rings, bangles or scarves on 🙂 Appreciate the paw-kisses – and back at you!

Hello!! Thank you for dropping by – I can’t believe that all the commenters to date like that – here we all crack up over photos of me laughing …. in a not all that kind type of manner …. I think I’ll stick with the somewhat bewildered one 🙂

I love the one you laughing, but I also say both would work fine 😀

You think? Bless!! In my mind I am six feet tall version of Julia Roberts so am always a little shocked when I see the reality. My YD says I need to have my photo taken more often than once every three years, then I would get used to seeing the reality …. I dunno, I prefer Julia Roberts 🙂
